Air Scrubber
Scrubbers are used to remove airborne contaminants prior to discharging
a waste air stream. The scrubber used a series of spray nozzles to
direct water droplets over and through the waste stream. The
contaminants are captured by the water droplets and are carried down to
the bottom of the scrubber for discharge.
Features
Unit Capacity
Different units sizes offer a wide capacity range 2000 CFM to 50,000
CFM with total static pressure capacity up to 50 mm w.g. or even high
static according to requirement.
Casting
The standard casing includes the fan and spray sections in single skin
construction. The structure is made of GI hollow profile and are
mechanically bolted with top and bottom tray. Panels are made of 18g.
or 16g. (Thickness varies according to the size of unit)
Blower
The blowers used in unit are imported or indigenous and is centrifugal
type forward curved for normal static pressure / backward curved for
high static pressure applications, mounted on rubber isolators for
smooth and quite operation. Blowers are dynamically and statically
balanced on FIE make computerized balancing machine.
Sump
Water circulating 'Spray section' tank provided in galvanized iron with
inner FRP coating. Tank also available in stainless steel.
Motor
The motor is drip proof mounted on specially designed adjustable motor base. Electrical supply normally is 3 ph / + - 415 volts.
Plumbing
Plumbing includes a float valve, re circulating drip proof pump with
distribution piping with headers for spray nozzles. Material used in
spray section piping is GI Class-B.
Eliminator
These are used to stop the water mist to entering into the fan section
which comes with the suction pressure of air by the blower. These are
made in GI sheet with four bends. Also available in PVC.
Applications
Foundries, Gen Set Exhaust, Kitchens, Laboratories etc.
